One calendar. Every Google account in the house.
Up to four Google accounts per household, two-way sync per calendar, per-member visibility, and a Day/Week/Month view that actually shows the dinner plan next to the events.
- 4Google accounts per household — Mom, Dad, kid, co-parent
- 2-waySync per calendar (or read-only when you want)
- 3Views — Day, Week, Month, with dinner & focus strips
Both parents' work calendars. The kids' co-op calendar. Together.
Connect every adult's Google account. Choose which calendars to import per account. Two-way sync writes back to Google so a Lightstead event still rings on your work watch.
- Up to 4 Google accounts per household
- Per-calendar sync mode (import / push / both)
- Dedup check across accounts
- OAuth tokens encrypted at rest
Day, Week, Month — with the family context built in.
Week view stacks dinner, events, and weekly focus. Month view sidebar carries seasonal focus, deadlines, and calendar pulse. Day view shows what's now, what's next, and who's on duty.
- Dinner strip on Week view
- Seasonal focus on Month sidebar
- "Now" treatment on Day view
- Per-member visibility filters

RRULE under the hood. Plain English on top.
Weekly co-op, monthly dentist, "first Tuesday of every month" — all standard RRULE. Three-option delete dialog (just this, future, all). Reminders that push to mobile.
- Full RRULE on events
- "Just this / future / all" deletes
- Excluded dates persisted
- Push reminders on mobile

A calendar event isn't a dead end.
Attach a chore instance, a list, a homeschool field-trip log, a meal plan, attendees. The event becomes the entry point — tap once, see the whole context.
- Link chores · lists · attendance
- Attendee avatars from attendeeIds
- Category chips from linked entity
- iCal subscribe + export

It works alone — but it's better with the rest.
Common questions.
Will it replace Google Calendar?
No — and it shouldn't. Lightstead syncs with Google so your work meetings stay on your work calendar. The family layer sits on top.
Can I keep some calendars private?
Yes. Per-member visibility settings let one parent hide their work calendar from kids while showing everything else.
Does it work with Apple Calendar?
iCal subscribe and export, but no two-way Apple sync today. Most Apple-only families subscribe their iCloud calendar in.
What if a second parent wants to share the calendar?
Both parents in the household workspace can connect their own Google accounts. Up to 4 Google accounts per household — typically Mom, Dad, and optionally a kid's calendar or a co-op shared calendar. Cross-household shared workspaces (e.g., for separated families) aren't supported today; the standard pattern is one household workspace per family unit.
