Subscription terms. After your 30-day free trial, your selected plan automatically renews at the listed price ($9.99/month for Monthly, $89.99/year for Annual) until you cancel. Cancel any time before renewal in Settings → Subscription (web) or More → Settings → Subscription (mobile), which opens the Stripe billing portal — no phone call, no email. Prices are in USD and exclude any applicable sales tax. We do not charge your card during the trial.

Is there a free tier?
No — Lightstead has a 30-day free trial with no card required, but no permanent free tier. The single subscription is $9.99/mo or $89.99/yr.
Does adding kids cost extra?
No. The price is per household, not per user. A family with one kid pays the same as a family with five.
Are both parents included?
Yes. Both parents in the same household workspace co-manage everything together. Cross-household shared workspaces (for separated co-parents in two homes) aren't supported today — the standard pattern is one household workspace per family unit.
What payment methods do you accept?
Stripe-based credit card payments. We accept all major cards. PayPal not currently supported.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancellation is one click from your account settings. No retention questionnaires; no fees. Cancel mid-cycle and you keep access through the paid period.
Do you offer refunds?
Yes, within 30 days of subscription for full refunds. After 30 days, we refund the unused portion of the annual plan if circumstances warrant — email dan@lightsteads.com.
Is there a family discount?
The household price is already a family pricing structure — every additional kid, every additional module, is free. No further discount, but also no upcharge.
What about education discounts?
Email dan@lightsteads.com if you're a homeschool co-op leader interested in group rates for member families. We can usually arrange something reasonable.
